Tech and Katie have sort of a love-hate thing going on. I've never had 2 cats before so I'm unsure as to whether or not this is normal. Sometimes I'll catch them sleeping together, often with Tech giving Katie a little bath. In the evening they'll play sometimes, chasing each other back and forth, up and down the stairs. But then again, Tech will apparently require some "me" time as he hides out trying to stay away from Katie. Occasionally, she'll go to play with him and he gets cranky with her, although he never hurts her. I got Katie to be a friend for Tech. Tech always seemed to require a lot of attention, more than I could provide with the often long hours I work at my job. I hope I did the right thing in bringing her home.

Trying to wrap presents was almost impossible until I figured out that I should give the 2 cats their own paper & bows to play with. The bow is now a munched mess and the paper is around here somewhere.

Silent night, Holy night

I had to bring Katie in to see the vet. She and Tech got a little too rambunctious yesterday and Katie ended up with a limp. The vet kept her overnight for observation. I came back home without Katie and Tech seemed rather confused. The he seemed a bit relieved.





However, when I brought her back this morning, he was obviously glad to see her again. He actually initiated play (while she is the one who usually does).

Little Angel Devil

This is Katie, our new kitten. She looks innocent enough... but looks can be deceiving. Just ask my poor Christmas tree, or what's left of it. She has super soft fur and goes at 2 speeds: 90MPH or so asleep that she doesn't budge when you move her.

So my human got ANOTHER cat to share our home. At first she hissed and spit at me, but now we are good friends. She does tire me out but she is fun to play with. Look, we got a indoor tree to sleep under!

My human has been busy busy with her new job. I think she's going to get back on the ball and start posting about me again. I've been busy too. You'll see!
